The City-County Planning Board holds meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 100 E. First Street in the Bryce Stuart Municipal Building in the Public Meeting Room on the 5th floor. Meetings begin at 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted on Planning's online calendar, however; citizens interested in speaking in support or opposition to a scheduled public hearing item should arrive between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. to sign up to speak. Rezonings, Special Use Permits, and UDO (Unified Development Ordinances) Text Amendments are subject to public hearings while preliminary subdivision approvals and Planning Board Review (PBR) items do not require a public hearing. Citizens are welcome to attend these public meetings.

Posting of Materials
- The information sheet describing the month's cases will be posted as soon as it is available, usually the Wednesday after filing deadline, which is the second Monday of the month.
- Initial location maps are posted on the Friday following filing deadline.
- Staff reports are posted the Friday before the Planning Board public hearing.
