City of Winston-Salem Arts, Culture, and Entertainment Memorial Walk of Fame.

The City of Winston-Salem has a long, impressive history of being the home to people who have made significant contributions to the arts and entertainment industry. In an effort to recognize our beloved artists, the City is creating an “Arts, Cultural, and Entertainment Memorial Walk of Fame” at the Benton Convention Center.

Nominations that are accepted as honorees will be memorialized with bronze stars embedded in the sidewalk on the east sidewalk parallel to Cherry St.

The inaugural Walk of Fame ceremony will be held Friday, July 26 at 9 a.m. in Room Winston 3A at the Benton Convention Center, with the unveiling of the star medallions immediately following on the Cherry St. sidewalk.
