Winston-Salem Downtown Farmer's Market

The Downtown Farmer's Markets is open at the old City Market at Sixth Street between Cherry and Trade in the heart of the Downtown Arts District. The Market is held weekly, Tuesday and Thursday, May through September from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The Downtown Farmer's Market will partner with downtown restaurants for the third year to offer special menu items featuring produce grown locally. On-site cooking demonstrations and special events will be held each month, including the annual Salsa Contest scheduled for August.

Farmer's Market vendors offer fresh produce, flowers, herbs, bedding plants, crafts, baked goods, soaps, candles, and more!

Parking for the Winston-Salem Downtown Farmer's Market is available nearby:

  • On-street parking on 6th Street.
  • Surface Lot parking in the lot you can enter from Cherry or Marshall streets, between 6th and 7th streets. Cherry Street is one-way north and Marshall Street is one-way south.
  • The parking deck at 6th/Cherry/Marshall is across the street.

Ask for your Park & Shop pass at the market and park for free in the 6th/Trade/Cherry deck.
