Triad Commute Challenge

It's that time again! The sixth annual Triad Commute Challenge runs from March 10 - June 10, 2012.

Last year, we "challenged" people across the Triad to try less-polluting transportation alternatives. More than 4,600 people pledged to carpool, ride the bus, bike, walk or telecommute instead of driving alone! As a result, participants saved approximately $600,000 in fuel expenses while reducing over 3.1 Million vehicle miles of travel!

Commuter Dash

The Triad Commute Challenge Dash is a FREE race/walk event for the Triad Commute Challenge, organized by the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) and Triad Air Awareness.

• DISTANCE: 5K
• LOCATION: Civic Plaza (3rd street, Downtown Winston-Salem)
• DIVISIONS: 5K & Fun Run/Walk
• DATE: Saturday March 10, 2012
• TIME: 9:00 a.m. (Check In 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.)
