Epiphany Lutheran FLY - Our Newest Adopt A Stream Group

The four adults and eight youths from Epiphany Lutheran's FLY Youth Group were more then a little surprised by what they found in the creek that runs through Spring Park in West End. Standing on the edge of the park before beginning the clean up, there didn't seem to be that much to do, as the park and creek looked pretty good. However, the volunteers soon found out that there was a lot more litter and stuff then initially expected. Several hours and 12 full bags of trash later, they climbed up out of the creek, surveyed the scene, and were pleased with the excellent job they had done. And the Stormwater Division is pleased to have them as part of the Adopt A Stream program!
