Cub Scout Pack Participates in Successful Stormwater Outreach Project

Cub Scouts from Pack 722 have been learning a lot about stormwater this year.  First, they learned about all the things that can impact water quality at their March 5th meeting at Highland Presbyterian Church.  The scouts learned a lot about how water runs off the land and takes pollutants with it through the use of an Envrioscape.  Pack leader Brian Moretz, thought that the next step should be a community service project where the scouts placed informational door hangers throughout the neighborhood, and placed Do Not Dump, Drains to the Creek storm drain markers on the storm drains in the neighborhood around the church.  And on April 9th, they made short work of that project and did a terrific job!
