Volleyball
After a several year hiatus, Volleyball returns to Special Olympics Forsyth County. This makes up the 13 sports that Forsyth County offers over 1400 athletes in the program.
Athletes participating in Special Olympics Volleyball benefit from the camaraderie that comes from competing in a team sport, as well as the training that enables them to successfully serve and return a volleyball. During the first year of competition, the Forsyth Wildcats brought home a bronze medal from the 2005 Special Olympics North Carolina Summer Games.
