Golf
In 1999, Special Olympics Forsyth County introduced golf as an official sport. As a very popular family sport, golf offers families the opportunity to train and compete together. Forsyth County currently has five alternate shot teams(two players), two of which are father and son and one team of brothers. Golf is offered on five levels, two of which are currently offered. Athletes learn the fundamentals of the game and can demonstrate those skills on a public golf course.
