Community Band

The Winston-Salem Community Band gives amateur and semiprofessional musicians the opportunity to continue using the skills they developed while playing in high school and college bands. Entrance to the band is not based on audition, but primarily on interest and dedication.

The annual performance schedule includes a concert in the fall, at Thanksgiving, at Christmas, two winter concerts and five outdoor programs at Miller Park Amphitheater during the spring and summer. Indoor concerts are held at South Fork Community Center or other noted sites. All concerts are held on Sundays.

For more information or if you would like to join the band, call Kim Young at 659-4305.
