Athletics

With more than 600 athletes training and competing, Athletics is the most popular Special Olympics sport in Forsyth County. It offers competition for all ability levels, from developmental to the highly skilled and from ambulatory to those using wheelchairs.

Special Olympic's Forsyth County holds an annual Spring Games competition at Wake Forest University.  It takes more than 500 volunteers to organize the event. The local Spring Games is the largest annual competition organized by Special Olympic's Forsyth County(SOFC).
