Guided Tours

guideGuided tours of Historic Bethabara Park begin with a 16-minute film and conclude with a tour, led by a costumed guide, of the 1788 Gemeinhaus. The Gemeinhaus served as living quarters for the minister and as a meeting hall and church for the Bethabara community.

We encourage visitors to view the Visitor Center exhibits and ask our knowledgeable guide staff about the history of Bethabara and the Moravians who settled here.

Tours are given between 10:30 and 4:30 Tuesday - Friday and from 1:30 - 4:30 on Saturday and Sunday.  Families and small groups can drop by during these hours for a tour. However, if you have a group of 15 or more and you are part of an organization, please call (336)924-8191 to schedule a tour in advance.

Tours typically last between 1 - 1 and 1/2 hours. The cost is $4.00 for adults and $1.00 per child.

Photos are discouraged inside the Gemeinhaus due to the safety of the artifacts.
