Special Weapons And Tactics (S.W.A.T.) 

The Special Weapons And Tactics Unit is responsible for handling various unusual and high risk law enforcement problems such as hostage situations, sniper incidents, high risk arrests, suicide attempts, hazardous spills, disaster scenes, surveillance and stakeouts, dignitary security, etc. A specially trained canine unit is also a member of this team. The Bomb Squad is also part of the S.W.A.T. Team.
