KIPP - Kids in Planning Program

RURAL HALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL- MS. LEONARD'S 4TH GRADE CLASS

Ms. Beverly Leonard's 4th grade class at Rural Hall Elementary School has a vision of the perfect city. On February 18, 2011, Bulldog City became the ideal City for the 4th grade class at Rural Hall Elementary School as they were introduced to City-County Planning. The classroom was turned into the public meeting room where students took on the roles of developer, planner, elected official(s) and citizens. City-County planners and staff from the Town of Rural Hall helped to guide the activities and the city's growth throughout the exercise.
