Queens Street Storm Drain Repairs to Affect Traffic Flow

Storm drain repairs at the intersection of Hawthorne Road and Queen Street will affect traffic flow on Queen Street starting Wednesday, June 6.

Construction will close the right lane of westbound Queen Street and will preclude right turns onto Hawthorne from Queen. Traffic wishing to turn right onto Hawthorne will be directed to go straight on Queen for another block and follow the detour signs.

Construction should not affect traffic on Hawthorne Road.

Work is expected to last at least through Friday afternoon and may take longer, depending on weather and the extent of the damage.
