Funeral Arrangements for Police Officer Willingham

Police Department - Aug. 1, 2011

A visitation will be held at Wait Chapel on the campus of Wake Forest University on Wednesday, Aug. 3. The chapel will open at 3 p.m. for a public viewing. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at Wait Chapel. Burial will follow in Westminster Cemetery, Greensboro.

For the funeral, the public should use parking lot Q, across Wake Forest Road from Wait Chapel. The university’s Polo Road entrance is closed for construction. The public should enter Wake Forest from Reynolda Road. Drivers will enter on Wake Forest Road and turn left onto Allen Easley Street. Signs will be posted to direct them to parking lot Q. Drop-off and handicapped parking will be in parking lot N, on the east side of Hearn Plaza (the quadrangle) between Kitchin and Poteat residence halls.
