Eighth Street Closed for Sewer Repair

Utilities Division - Sept. 8, 2011

Eighth Street, between Rich and Camel avenues, will be closed to through traffic starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning to repair a sewer line. The repairs will also require closing the block of Camel Avenue off N.C. 311. If repairs are not completed tomorrow, the street will be reopened to traffic over the weekend and close again on Monday until repairs are complete. A detour will be posted.
