Curbside Recycling in Winston-Salem Suspended

Recycle Today - Jan. 10, 2011

Waste Management is suspending all residential trash and recycling services, including curbside recycling in Winston-Salem, due to inclement weather and safety concerns.

A Waste Management representative said that when the streets are safe and service resumes, it will commence with Monday’s routes. More details will be provided later.

The city contracts with Waste Management to provide curbside recycling for city households.
