Ardmore Streets Closing for Sewer Repairs

Utilities Division - Aug. 5, 2010

Portions of Rosewood Avenue, Parkway Drive and Ainsworth Street in the Ardmore neighborhood will be closed the week of Aug. 9 for sewer repairs.

On Monday, Aug. 9, Rosewood Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Melrose and Magnolia streets; and access to Parkway Drive will be restricted from Ainsworth Street to the dead end. These streets are scheduled to reopen on Friday, Aug. 13.

On Wednesday, Aug, 11, Ainsworth Street will be closed to through traffic between Westover Drive and Parkway Drive. It is scheduled to reopen on Friday, Aug. 20.

Detours will be posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging sewer lines in parts of the Ardmore neighborhood. Work is expected to last through August 2010. For more information, call City Link at 727-8000.
