North Cherry Street between Pittsburg Avenue and 20th Street will be closed to through traffic Monday and Tuesday, May 25-26, while a contractor works on water lines. North Cherry Street between Pittsburg Avenue and 14th Street will be closed to through traffic Wednesday, May 27, while a contractor installs a water line. Work is expected to take about two weeks. Detours will be posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines on this street in conjunction with the Habitat for Humanity project. Work is expected to last through May 2009.
