East Ward Town Hall Meeting Slated for May 7

East Ward Council Member Joycelyn V. Johnson will hold a town hall meeting for her constituents at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 7, in the City Hall Council Chamber, 101 N. Main St.

Topics will include the city budget, use of federal stimulus funds, public safety, police redeployment, a police substation, and summer activities at city parks and recreation centers.

Citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions about these and other topics. Members of the city staff will attend the meeting and will be available to address residents’ concerns.
