Drop-In Session Scheduled for Clemmonsville Road Project

City engineers will hold a drop-in session Thursday, March 26, to allow citizens to review the amended plans to widen Clemmonsville Road between South Main Street and Old Salisbury Road.

The session will be held 4 - 8 p.m. at the Georgia E. Taylor Neighborhood Recreation Center, 1471 W. Clemmonsville Road.

The amended plan adds bicycle lanes in each direction and a round-about at Sides Road. The amended plan retains the roundabouts at both ends of the bridge over Peters Creek Parkway.

The amended plans can also be seen at the Engineering Division office in the Stuart Municipal Building, 100 E. First St., Suite 235.
