West End Utility Project Update

On Monday, September 17, construction will begin on Brookstown Avenue between Fourth and Fifth streets; and on Jersey Avenue between Brookstown Avenue and Pilot View Street. Detours will be posted. Construction should last about three weeks.

Construction continues on Fourth Street between Burke and Glade streets. A detour is posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
