West End Utility Project Update

Construction will begin Monday, July 30, on Summit Street between Sixth and Manly streets. A detour will be set up. Construction should last about two weeks.

Summit Street is now open between Fifth and Sixth streets.

Construction continues on Fifth Street between Brookstown Avenue and Glade Street. A detour is posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
