West End Utility Project Update

Construction will begin Monday, May 18, on West End Boulevard between Brookstown Avenue and Clover; and on Summit Street between Jersey Avenue and Sixth Street. The closures should last approximately three weeks. Detour routes will be posted.

Construction continues on Four-Half (4 ½ ) Street, between Brookstown Avenue and Summit Street; on Brookstown Avenue, between Fourth and Fifth streets; and on Glade Street, between West End Boulevard and Sunset Drive. Detour routes are posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
