West End Utility Project Update

Pilot View Street, between Carolina and Jersey avenues, and Summit Street, between Fourth and Fifth streets, are now opened.

Construction continues on Four-Half (4 ½ ) Street, between Brookstown Avenue and Summit Street; on Glade Street, between West End Boulevard and Sunset Drive; and on Carolina Avenue, between Pilot View Street and Brookstown Avenue. Detour routes are posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
