West End Utility Project Update

Construction will begin Tuesday, August 7, on Fourth Street between Broad and Burke streets. A detour will be set up. Construction should last approximately four weeks.

Construction continues on Fifth Street between Brookstown Avenue and Glade Street, which will reopen at the end of day on Monday, August 6.

Construction also continues on Summit Street between Sixth Street and Jersey Avenue.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
