West End Utility Project Update

Construction will begin Monday, July 23, on Summit Street between Fifth and Sixth streets. A detour will be set up.

West End Boulevard between Reynolda Road and Summit Street is now open.

Construction continues on Fifth Street between Brookstown Avenue and Glade Street. A detour is posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
