Meeting to Solicit Opinions for Southwest Suburban Area Plan

The City-County Planning Board and the Southwest Suburban Area Citizens Advisory Committee will hold a meeting on Thursday, May 3, to solicit opinions on how the area should grow and develop.
The meeting will be from held 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Little Creek Recreation Center, 610 Foxcroft Drive. A short presentation will be held, followed by group discussions to solicit opinions on how the area should grow over the next 20 years.
The area covered by the plan roughly is bounded on the north by Silas Creek Parkway, Business 40 and U.S. 421, on the east by Ebert Road, on the south by the county line, and on the west by Muddy Creek. A map of the area is available at www.cityofws.org/planning.
