DOT Documents Available for Review

The Winston-Salem Urban Area Transportation Advisory Committee, the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation and the Winston-Salem Transit Authority are seeking public review and comment on the following documents:
- Triad Regional Air Quality Conformity Determination Report
- Draft 2007-2013 Winston-Salem Urban Area Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program
- Federal and State Transportation Funds Obligated in 2006
These documents have details about the planning and funding for road, rail, transit, pedestrian, and bicycle transportation improvements for Forsyth County, and portions of Davidson, Davie and Stokes counties.
The documents can be reviewed online on the Transportation web pages or at public libraries in Forsyth County and King; each municipal town hall; the North Carolina Department of Transportation Division 9 office at 375 Silas Creek Parkway; and the Winston-Salem Department of Transportation, Room 307, Bryce A. Stuart Municipal Building, 100 E. First St.
Transportation staff will be available to answer questions about the documents Tuesday, March 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. in Room 530 of the Bryce A. Stuart Municipal Building (formerly City Hall South), 100 E. First St.
