Talk of the Town Coming to Southeast Ward on April 24;
Council Member Johnson to Hold Town Hall Meeting on April 26

Mayor Allen Joines and Southeast Ward Council Member Evelyn Terry will hold a Talk of the Town meeting with Southeast Ward residents on Tuesday, April 24, at the Prodigals Community, 1024 Waughtown St.

They’ll discuss what’s going on in city government and issues important to the Southeast Ward, including community appearance, businesses operating without permits or proper zoning, and individual trash collection for the Autumn Oaks community. Residents will be invited to ask about the issues that concern them. The meeting will start at 6 p.m.

Council Member Joycelyn Johnson will hold a Town Hall meeting with her constituents Thursday, April 26, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber (Room 230) in City Hall, 101 N. Main Street. For more information, call the City Secretary at 727-2224
