Law enforcement officers, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade teachers and firefighters/emergency medical technicians can contribute to community revitalization while becoming homeowners through HUD's Good Neighbor Next Door Sales Program.  HUD offers a substantial incentive in the form of a discount of 50% from the list price of the home.

Preserving Homeownership Through Consumer Credit Counseling Services

A change in your financial status could lead to mortgage delinquency and default. Should this happen to you, seek help immediately by contacting Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS) for a housing counseling appointment! CCCS of Forsyth County is a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency and United Way Agency. The counselors are certified Housing, Credit and Loss Mitigation Counselors. Foreclosure mitigation housing counseling services are provided by highly-trained and professional counselors. Services are FREE and all client information is kept strictly confidential.

Regardless of your financial situation, a thorough financial analysis will help with prioritizing your expenses and budget. If you are facing the possibility of foreclosure, do not lose your home to foreclosure recovery scams. Avoid foreclosure prevention companies - let CCCS help you with options to assist in retaining your home. For more information, call (336) 896-1196.
