The Financial Management Services Department of the City of Winston-Salem provides assistance to city administrators in maintaining the city's overall financial stability through sound financial planning and management. The department has over 50 employees divided into five divisions: Revenue, Treasury, Risk Management, Accounting Services, and Purchasing.
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)
Open Financial Information is an easy to use way of seeing how your tax dollars are being spent and other relevant information about the stewardship and fiscal responsibility of city programs. As you browse the Open Financial Information site, you will be able to view information about city expenditures, view transactions with vendors, and compare budget to actual expenditures within departments.
The Open Financial Information data is updated daily and contains transactions related to General Fund and all of the other major operating funds for the current fiscal year (July through June). Prior fiscal year information also is available. See how your tax dollars are working for you with Open Financial Information!
